Real World Problems - Social Science Solutions Workshop

This workshop will be led by Mark Liddle, the Managing Director of an independent consulting organisation which has worked for many years with a range of government and non-government organisations on research design and evaluations (both within and outside the UK). The workshop will involve a short talk about general principles of evaluation research from Mark Liddle, and then participants will be divided into small interdisciplinary groups to prepare research and evaluation designs - utilising issues drawn from the real world of social policy. In the afternoon, each group will present its design/evaluation proposal and receive feedback from Mark.

This is a great opportunity for you to get advice, evaluate and discuss how research can impact real world issues.

Lunch will be provided.

Places are limited so please book as soon as possible!
