Ivan Collister

Ivan Collister is a PhD student in History, with particular interests in labour history, electoral politics, and the history of social policy in modern Britain. His PhD explores the formation of political preferences and party-political commitments through a local study of attitudes towards politics, c.1950-1990. In 2016 and 2017, he was the Research Associate on a study of expertise in government policymaking, contributing to the Cambridge Strategic Research Initiative on Public Policy.
