Provided by experts in communications from the Office of External Affairs within the University of Cambridge we are delighted to provide two workshops.

Social Media - the pros and cons

Wednesday 21st November, Time TBA, The Old Schools

This workshop is one hour and will run through the pitfalls of social media as well as the positive ways it can help to raise your profile.  This session is key to anyone who values a social media presence and help them to look into the future when they are first setting up.

Social Media - Media Management

Friday 31st January, all day workshop 9.30am to 4pm, The Old Schools

Aimed at third year students this workshop is provided by Paul Holland, an ex-journalist, and colleagues from the OEA, who will spend a full day working with students on how to manage media such as giving interviews on radio or television and advice on projecting image and research in a positive way.

Using Social Media for Tracking Impact

Date TBA (will be held in March 2019)

This is a new workshop provided by the PhD Clinic and will be led by Tyler Shores from Google, who is now currently a PhD student at Cambridge.
